Whether dark brown, light brown, black, or transparent, the Appenzeller belt is simply a classic and can be worn anytime. The production of Appenzeller belts is a regional handicraft based on centuries-old Appenzeller tradition. The ornaments are made of sheet brass. Each individual figure is riveted to the belt by hand with four pins. The authenticity of an Appenzeller belt can be recognized by the many small rivet heads on the back of the belt. Whether for everyday wear or for national occasions while traveling abroad, this belt is always a good fit and exudes charm. It makes an excellent gift as a souvenir of a piece of Switzerland. Material: Roughened cowhide with a special surface treatment for a slightly softer finish. This gives the belt the desired look.
