The production of Appenzeller belts is a regional handicraft based on centuries-old Appenzeller tradition and folk art. The ornaments are made of sheet brass. Each individual figure is riveted to the belt by hand with four pins. The authenticity of an Appenzeller belt can be recognized by the many small rivet heads on the back of the belt.

How to calculate the right belt length:
The total length of the Appenzellergürtel is measured:
Measure one of your belts from the buckle to the most frequently used hole—this is the waistband length—or measure your waist circumference at the level of your pants' belt loops. Add 15 cm to the waist circumference to get the total length.

- Total length 100 cm (waist length 85 cm)
- Total length 110 cm (waist length 95 cm)
- Total length 120 cm (waist length 105 cm)

Belt length (total length): 90 cm, 95 cm, 105 cm and 115 cm are available on request

Delivery time: The delivery time is normally 1 - 3 working days.
5-7 days for specialty handcrafted and niche products. If a product is out of stock at one of our suppliers, we will immediately reorder it. This may take a little longer. For deliveries scheduled at short notice at the customer's request, we charge an additional preferential treatment fee of CHF 20.00, excluding the express fee.
